New European market leader for third-party maintenance

Evernex, a leading European provider of third-party maintenance (TPM), and Technogroup IT-Service GmbH, the leading TPM provider in the D/A/CH region, have merged. The transaction has been approved by the competition authorities. The result is a new European market leader for third-party maintenance for data centres. Third-party maintenance is a service concept that, amongst other things, provides considerable cost savings in comparison with manufacturer maintenance, which many companies need in the current situation.

The merger has created a global company with a very broad presence and a unique expertise in manufacturer-independent technical services for data centres. “We are convinced that we complement one another very well – in our expertise, in our portfolio and in particular geographically, with a worldwide network that provides real global coverage. This will enable us to convince our customers of the advantages very quickly and to open up unique opportunities for growth,” states Stanislas Pilot, President and CEO of Evernex, with confidence.

In addition to his role as CEO of Technogroup, Klaus Stöckert as part of the Evernex Executive Board will take on the position of Managing Director of the Central, Eastern & Northern Europe Region. “Thanks to the merger with Evernex as a global company, we, as Technogroup, are strengthening our international presence and, as part of the Evernex Group, provide even more attractive services for our customers and partners. At the same time, we are retaining the advantages of a medium-sized company that is always close the customer,” says Stöckert. “Joining forces means that we can make our expertise and service quality available to even more companies and extend our service portfolio.”

Evernex, with its headquarters in Paris, has a global network of 34 branches and 650,000 spare parts in more than 330 logistics locations. Technogroup has been on the market for 30 years and offers its 5,200 customers solutions such as maintenance, monitoring, network services or data centre relocations. The core product of both companies – manufacturer-independent data centre maintenance – is in demand. According to an assessment by the research company Gartner, the service provides possible savings of 50 to 70 % in comparison with manufacturer maintenance. Furthermore, TPM means that the hardware can be used even after the end of the manufacturer support. This not only benefits the budget, but also assists with the careful use of resources.

The fact that Technogroup is now part of the Evernex Group is also expressed in a new logo.
