Technogroup IT‑Service GmbH’s acquisition of the network specialist BSW-COM GmbH marks a further expansion of Technogroup’s wide range of data center services and a further consolidation of its position as the Germany‑Austria‑Switzerland region’s market leader in the third‑party maintenance (TPM) segment.

Located in the western German town of Kerpen, BSW‑COM specializes in the provision of IT infrastructure solutions designed primarily for the network, security, and unified communications sectors. BSW‑COM’s technical consultants possess a wealth of experience in the planning, implementation, and operation of complex customer installations.

“The acquisition of BSW‑COM marks a continuation of our robust growth track,” commented Technogroup’s CEO Klaus Stöckert. “We are investing in growth sectors that serve to ideally complement our strengths in the server and storage sectors. This pertains to data center network components as well as to modern networking and collaboration services aimed at accommodating the forward‑looking digital workstations of the future.”

Although BSW‑COM’s business operations have thus far been primarily limited to the Rhine‑Ruhr region, its network experts will now have the opportunity to provide the company’s sophisticated solutions throughout the entire Germany‑Austria‑Switzerland region. “Technogroup’s nationwide service and sales network constitutes a unique advantage for our network specialists, which in turn enables us to complete a greater number of network projects and generate further added value for our companies and partners in times of ever‑increasing virtualization,” emphasized Klaus Stöckert.

With 30 years of data center experience, Technogroup has established itself as the preferred manufacturer‑independent point of contact and solutions provider for all matters surrounding IT infrastructure. More than 4,700 customers already rely on Technogroup’s expertise as well as its monitoring, single point of contact (SPOC), IMAC, and managed services solutions.
