“For me, employee retention and long-term corporate affiliation are influenced by two factors: on the one hand, by diverse prospects for development and, on the other hand, by the assumption of social responsibility.
Meanwhile I have been working for Technogroup for more than 13 years. I started as a technician in the field and then took over the position of Team Leader Technical Field Service for the Rhine-Main region. After concentrating on management tasks and a side trip to the service desk, I wanted to return to my roots and develop myself technically.
When Technogroup expanded its activities in the medical technology sector, I decided to take on a new challenge and switched to the Repair Center. After an intensive training phase, including a course in Singapore, I became responsible, in my current position, for the repair of blood analysis equipment. This activity includes decontamination of the equipment, fault analysis, repair at chip level, calibration, functional testing and documentation. Beyond that, I also repair tape drives and printers in the Repair Center and can thus combine my relationship to old familiar things with new technologies. My ambition is to further develop the medical technology division with new products, both in-house and on site at the customer’s premises.
In addition, I am also very keen to promote young talents. As an instructor, I am responsible for technical apprenticeship, starting with the application process and supervision of vocational trainees. For me this is another opportunity to actively shape the future of the company.”
