11.3-percent sales increase at the manufacturer-independent IT service provider for data centers
The Hochheim-based Technogroup has concluded a successful financial year as the market leader in manufacturer-independent services for data centers and IT systems. With an increase in sales of 11.3 percent, the previous year’s result of 10.3-percent growth was surpassed once again. Overall, the internationally active Technogroup was thus able to achieve sales of 35 million euros in 2017. “This is an exceedingly strong result and shows how much companies value an independent service partner. We offer everything from one source, and to do so also work closely with manufacturers. Clients perceive us as a one-stop shop for their service needs and thus save a great deal of time and money,” says Dr. Ralf Dingeldein, Managing Director of Technogroup IT-Service GmbH. Last year he and Alfried Netzband took over the growing company from the founding partners and Caldec Holding GmbH. In Vitruvian Partners LLP, Technogroup also has a strong pan-European private equity company as an investor.
Service from one source
Ninety percent of sales is achieved through long-term service contracts with companies of virtually any size in a variety of industries. Currently 250 employees at 37 local service support points take care of the approximately 4,500 end customers of Technogroup, which has also been a service partner for the two manufacturers NEC and Losstech since 2017. Proximity to the customer is an important commercial principle, enabling rapid reaction times to be guaranteed in the case of failures at data centers. On top of this, more than 280 computer retail partners have also been brought on board in order to offer further coverage in the German-speaking region. Clients benefit from a high degree of operational security and, at the same time, considerably longer utilization times for hardware. “This concept saves resources and budgets. After all, an entire car doesn’t need to be replaced just because of a worn-out spark plug. With third-party maintenance, we work on the basis of current market value and are even able to keep in operation systems that manufacturers have long since ceased to support,” explains Dr. Dingeldein.
CrefoZert for Technogroup
Trust is crucial when it comes to the outsourcing of services to external and independent partners, and that is why Technogroup IT-Service GmbH has sought CrefoZert certification from Creditreform. The terms are strict: The credit index must indicate a value between 100 and 249, the balance sheet credit standing must be rated CR7 or better, and there should be no recognizable substantial credit risks with regard to the current situation and future prospects. “This also sends out a signal to our clients that we are always able to act reliably and on an equal footing, whether it’s for medium-sized companies or a corporation. After all, the responsibility we bear for IT infrastructures and data centers is substantial, so we’re all the more delighted about the continually growing trust we enjoy in the market,” says the Managing Director of Technogroup.
