Market leader in the third-party maintenance sector (TPM) boosts revenue by 7%

Technogroup has known nothing but upward momentum since its establishment in 1990, and fiscal year 2018 marked no exception with the data center IT services provider recording considerable growth of 7%. This allowed the market leader for third‑party maintenance in the Germany-Austria-Switzerland region to boost its revenue to approximately €37 million. “These earnings demonstrate companies’ increasing reliance on our overarching expertise,” commented Technogroup’s CEO Dr. Ralf Dingeldein. “Technogroup serves as a flexible and competent partner to these companies by providing IT operations support, which allows the companies to reduce their operational burden so that they can focus on coping with challenges such as those pertaining to digitalization and IoT.”

A one-stop shop for multi-vendor services

The year 2018 saw Technogroup generate 85% of its revenue by way of maintenance services. As a service provider for virtually all data center systems, the company offers its customers a unique set of benefits. Customers can rest assured knowing that they can rely on a single provider to perform the entire range of maintenance duties irrespective of how many different systems are in use. This enables customers to fine‑tune their processes and ensure that any disruptions are quickly resolved while extending the useful life of their hardware and saving up to 60% compared to manufacturer‑provided maintenance.

Additional services in demand

In addition to maintenance, Technogroup customers have demonstrated increasing demand for further services such as the proactive monitoring of hardware and early identification of potential problems. Customers have the luxury of reporting any and all disruptions to Technogroup as a single point of contact regardless of the system maintenance responsibility assignments. The added IT services also encompass system migrations and installations, which currently account for around 15% of Technogroup’s revenue, a number that is expected to rise even further in future years.

Quality and flexibility as a competitive edge

Technogroup’s approximate 4,700 customers benefit from a closely‑knit network consisting of approximately 290 employees and more than 50 of its own liaison offices in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Benelux countries. Furthermore, Technogroup boasts a network of certified partners enabling the performance of services in over 50 countries across the world. “Companies of all sizes and industries have a need for IT operations services. Technogroup’s service level agreement compliance rate of over 98% exceeds our customers’ performance expectations and that is something we are very proud of,” emphasized Dr. Ralf Dingeldein. “We are a midmarket company with the flexibility necessary to effectively adapt our services to customers’ needs. The quality and flexibility that we offer is unique in this market and serves as the foundation of our company’s success.”
