Technogroup hires Carsten Becker to support northern region

Manufacturer-independent service models and IT services for SMEs and industry

With immediate effect, Carsten Becker has taken over the running of Technogroup’s northern region, working from the Hamburg branch of the IT consultancy. The company, which is headquartered in Germany and has operations in several European countries, offers manufacturer-independent service concepts for data centers and IT infrastructures and is market leader in its discipline. This new appointment will allow the company to consolidate its efforts in the market for third-party maintenance (TPM) in the north of Germany and around the city of Hamburg. New regional manager Becker started his career in the 1990s with Mannesmann-Kienzle before working in IT/IS systems and for well-known companies in the telecommunications sector. Becker, who is 49, has worked for employers such as mediaWays (a joint-venture between Bertelsmann and debis), E-Plus, o2, EWE and other large international corporations.

Competence in sales and processes

The demand is there in the northern region

The economy in north Germany is strong, and there is enormous demand for alternative solution and service concepts for data centers and IT infrastructures. “Nowadays, people are looking for solution experts in IT services who are capable of designing and implementing even complex projects. Being independent of manufacturers is therefore a huge asset. The challenges and changes in the markets are becoming more extensive and more fast-moving which is why in Carsten Becker we are proud to boast somebody with a great deal of varied experience in process and IT demand management.
