Technogroup IT-Service GmbH has developed into an international, medium-sized IT service provider with 250 employees since its launch in 1990. In recent years, the company experienced significant growth – today advising 4,000 customers in a wide range of IT infrastructures. After 27 years in business, Claus Fischer, founder and managing director of Technogroup, has clearly written economic history in his German home state of Hesse.

Today Technogroup announced the appointment of Dr Ralf Dingeldein as managing director thereby strengthening the company board and preparing for a leadership transfer to a younger generation. “After almost 27 years, such a change is a big step for all of us – and certainly a particularly emotional issue. This change, however, is necessary to prepare a successful company like Technogroup for the future. It also offers the opportunity to further develop Technogroup’s business model in line with future requirements and give employees a clear perspective,” Claus Fischer, founder and CEO of Technogroup, said.

Technogroup‘s executive team chose the candidate together with the shareholders during an elaborate selection process. The choice fell on sales expert Dr Ralf Dingeldein who joined the company as new managing director in April 2017. Before joining Technogroup, Dingeldein worked as Managing Director at Willenbrock Fördertechnik in Bremen. In the past, he also held managing positions at KION Group and Linde Material Handling. He graduated as a business engineer from TH Karlsruhe and started his career at McKinsey & Company.

On 1 July 2017, Dr Ralf Dingeldein will be appointed spokesman for the management board and will form the new executive team together with Alfried Netzband. « With Ralf Dingeldein we‘ve deliberately not opted for a ‘guardian of the status quo’, but for someone who has developed his own ideas, earned recognition for them at a young age and has proven to effectively implement these new ideas in his work. He’s previously been successful in handling challenging succession cases and has been able to inspire employees. We view him as the right person to further develop Technogoup, for the employees as well as for myself as co-owner of the company, » Claus Fischer said.
