End-of-Life Management Date (EOL), End-of-Sale Date (EOS), Last Date of Support (LDS) – many users are familiar with these or similar abbreviations from manufacturers’ announcements and publications.

They stand for the end of product support, because the manufacturer no longer provides service for these products or may focus on the sale of new systems. End-of-life management is crucial here. One of the simplest ways is to place the respective machine in the professional EOL support of a third party maintenance provider. In order to be able to provide for this in good time, it is advisable to always keep an eye on the EOL/ESOL data.
